Stryd Fawr outside Après Sea and Lôn Pen Cei near Mañanas have readable parking signs in August 2024 imagery. Current restrictions and free status still need checking on arrival.

The parking map
Find streets near your beach
Choose an approach point and widen the search. Residential roads are places to investigate; their appearance on the map does not mean you can park there.
Searching a street or selecting residential streets includes unverified research areas. Distances use the middle of each section and are measured in a straight line, not along a walking route.

The ≈ Beach marker shows your selected approach; the dotted circle shows the search radius. The £ Hall marker remains available for reference. Grey lines are unverified research areas. Amber lines locate signed bays seen in older imagery; they are not exact bay boundaries. Unmarked roads have not been assessed.

Village Hall parking
Abersoch Village Hall car park — Neuadd Abersoch
Abersoch Village Hall car park is on Lôn Gwydryn and is managed by Initial Parking. It is paid parking. The Hall’s website does not publish a full current tariff, so check the price board and registration-entry requirements before paying.
Cae Du is the clearest lead from the wider search. An older visitor report mentions roadside parking there for the main beach. We have mapped its main and western estate roads so you can locate the area, but the report does not establish which side or section is permitted today. Read the visitor report ↗
Maes Awel and Gwydryn Drive extend the search inland. Lôn Tŷ Gwyn covers the residential area north of the harbour. Use Explore residential streets to see them, sorted by distance to your chosen beach approach. Their public-road status and parking permission remain unverified.
Look at the road entrance as well as the place you intend to park. Private drives, allocated spaces, permit bays, dropped kerbs, junctions and turning areas need particular care. Keep pedestrian and emergency access clear. An empty kerb or a parked car is not evidence of permission.

Abersoch car parks: compare paid alternatives
A small parking bill may be worth it for a longer visit. These are two alternatives to the Village Hall with published prices. Compare the price for your whole stay before choosing.
The Village Hall’s current tariff is not published on its website. We haven’t verified a current price board elsewhere, so we can’t yet promise these are cheaper. The comparisons below show the Hall price above which you would save.

These are the summer fees displayed on Gwynedd’s live map, checked 26 September 2026. It lists 24-hour enforcement and also says winter is free, but gives no season dates in the listing. Confirm the dates and current signs before relying on free winter parking.

The operator’s page was checked 26 September 2026, but its tariff has no effective date. “All day” is not defined as twenty-four hours: check the departure time and conditions on site. Don’t assume a daytime ticket covers overnight parking.
The page’s URL says Pwllheli Beach, but its heading and address identify The Old Whitehouse, Abersoch. Confirm the site and tariff board before paying.
Published parking tariffs only; availability and on-site terms still apply. A Parking Charge Notice is separate from the price of a parking ticket. Already received a parking charge?
Plan your visit
Where to park in Abersoch
For a short visit, investigate the signed bays outside Après Sea on Stryd Fawr, or near Mañanas on Lôn Pen Cei. We inspected the actual signs in dated street imagery, rather than assuming parked cars mean parking is allowed. Select either amber section to see what its sign said.
Distances shown are straight-line measurements from the middle of each mapped section to your selected beach approach or the Village Hall. They are not walking routes, walking times or evidence of pedestrian access.
Parking during Abersoch Dinghy Week
Allow extra time during busy summer events, including Abersoch Dinghy Week. Check signs carefully when you arrive. We haven’t verified any temporary event restrictions, and the map doesn’t show space availability.
Know the evidence
How we check a street
A “Free” label needs evidence for the exact side and length of road, with applicable hours, seasonal rules and any stay or return limits. A parked car, a map symbol or a general visitor tip is not enough.
Amber “Signed bays” entries have readable historical sign evidence, but are not verified as free today. Other uncertain or overdue records appear as “Not verified”. The imagery date, research date and current verification date are separate.
